SUPER CHEAP FCG™

I'm cheap. That's all there is to it. And I need to build an FCG this year. So, in doing so, comes the Super Cheap FCG™. Not only will be be cheap to build, but also cheap looking. It's supposed to be a ghost, and dead people don't have any need for money.

Materials Needed

  • Scrap piece of plywood (dimensions coming soon)
  • Scrap piece of wood
  • Cheap $4 rotisserie motor off of ebay
  • Cheap 18" blacklight ($12 from iParty ~ Halloween)
  • Black super-strong thread
  • Tule
  • Skull from a Blucky, or a styrofoam wig head
  • 1" piece of cheap metal stock (about $2 at Home Depot)
  • Black paint
  • 3/4" "screw rod" (about $3 at Home Depot)
  • 6 3/4" nuts
  • 3 3/4" lock nuts (the ones with the vinyl insert)
  • Beer (The Champagne of Beers works well, as does Sam Adams)
  • 1 1/2" washer
  • 3 Eyehole screws

Tools

  • Drill
  • 3/4" drill bit
  • smaller drill bit (to thread the string through the washer)
